um poste entre 2016 e 2017 mas  como eu estava de ferias e nao estava conseguindo manter os posts por aqui,e de todas as perdas importantes do ano a que eu realmente nao esperava (na verdade agente nunca espera esse tipo de coisa) a eterna Princesa Leia ( Carrie Fisher )  nos deixou....e digo eterna porque  na minha opniao,ninguem substitui os personagens originais de star wars pra mim, e nao aguentei e tive de prestar minha humilde homenagem a um imortal  personagem  e muito querida  pelo menos pra mim,ela me fez acreditar durante anos que ela Carrie Fisher  realmente era uma princesa  que lutavava contra as forcas do mal de uma galaxia muito distante

mais um estudo ,proposto pelo grupo do facebook(redesign) o tema dessa vez era O Homem Aranha...entao nao pude deixar  de participar novamente ,afinal  e um dos meu personagens preferidos afinal de contas meu interesse sobre ciencias e quimica e coisas relacionadas teve influencia em personagens como Peter Parker,Bruce Banner entre outros,imagino que muitos se influenciaram  assim como eu porem hoje em dia eu nao consigo enxergar esse tipo de influencia  nos mesmos personagens,talvez porque os valores a ser transmitidos mudaram os personagens tenha mais problemas pessoas que antes ,nao sei....mas no que eu estava pensando ao tentar fazer esse redesign?

bem,o personagem teve muitos concepts e mudancas nos ultimos anos,e meu medo era fazer algo que ja existia ao mesmo tempo estava dificil de fazer algo muito diferente,por causa dos termos que estabeleci (1 hora ) entao resolvi usar de base O Homem Aranha 2099,e nao resisti  ,eu tive de usar a capa de teia nele heheh e mudei as cores tambem troquei o vermelho pelo branco e recriei a logo,que preenche todo o torax dele e deixei a mascara com detalhes mais discreto,

inicialmente eu ia tirar na verdade,mas voltei com a ideia.

e ele ficou um tipo de venom 2099 heheh eu acho

essa semana  com um redesign de um personagem  de quadrinho nacional  Penitente ( Lorde Lobo-Alexandre Cozza Ferreira ) essa foi a ideia do grupo do facebook REDESIGN ,o pessoal se juntou pra ficar recriando personagens que todos amam heheh,outra coisa  tento usar isso como estudo,objetivo principal criar algo em apenas 1 hora, as cores entram como um bonus,se sobrar um tempo elas sao feitas hehhe...mas antes de comecar a desenhar costumo fazer anotacoes ,inclusive reescrevo  a historia.....minha ideia foi baseada em uma foto,senta que la vem a historia hehehe.....brasil 1860,um fiel escravo que vivia no casarao e foi criado desde pequeno pelos seus senhores,fazia a funcao de evitar a fuga de outros escravos e identificar possiveis ameacas dentro da acenzala contra seus patroes,mas apos tentar defender um amigo especifico,seus senhores apos tanto tempo comecaram a desconfiar dele ,ele se tornara uma ameaça naquele momento,apos ter sido assassinado enquanto dormia brutalmente,mas ele ganhou uma segunda chance,uma entidade espiritual oferece um pacto para evitar que ele seja punido pelos seus crimes (de traicao) no inferno ele voltaria em seu corpo morto e teria de salvar setenta vezes sete vezes o número de vítimas inocentes e escravos que foram executados com a sua ajuda quando era vivo, ao mesmo tempo, mandaria de volta tmbm ao Inferno criaturas que de lá escaparam,entao armado com facas artezanais e uma cartola vermelha ele passa a assombrar os baroes e demonios soltos por ai

essa nao e dessa semana mas e recente,um amigo de facebook Vinincius de Moura, entrou na onda do inktober   e esta fazendo coisas bem legais ...dentre elas ele fez essa chun li,ele permitiu e eu   colori,se tem algo que agente tem em comum e o gosto por street fighter hehehe ...tentei usar  alguns brushes diferentes e tentar simplificar mais ainda meu processo de pintura,pra que eu consiga resultados mais rapidos,normalmente demoro na faze de mesclar  o traco com pintura ,mas ao mesmo tempo eu queria preservar um pouco do traco do vinicius ...se bem que um desenho bom torna as coisas mais facil tambem, para ver mais trabalhos dele basta ir nos links

com o lancamento da serie do luke cage  recebi um pedido de uma comission que ,infelismente  foi cancelada,porem como a ideia era legal,afinal de contas acho que eu nao sou o unico que acha que Terry Crews seria perfeito para o papel do heroi de aluguel heheh,usei uma foto do Terry de referencia,com poucos acessorios ele automaticamente se transforma do Luke  hehehe.... mas resolvi terminar o traco dela,a ideia aqui era pra ser um sketch ,depois eu iria finalizar a nanquim  no papel,o que eu ainda nao tive tempo de fazer

semana,resolvi testar uns brushes novos aqui,sao 2 na verdade,tentei simular umas pinceladas menos comportadas ....mesclando o traco em algumas areas...isso na verdade foi um teste pra uma outra ilustracao...as vezes eu faco  algumas comissions,em que exige  algum recurso diferente do que costumo fazer,e isso e bem empolgante e desafiador as vezes...e ao mesmo tempo é interessante pensar que uma imagem em especifica pode ter uma identidade tambem entende,um estilo especifico,a um tempo atras eu usava esse recurso de usar um brushe e estilo de pintura diferente pra cada ilustracao com mais frequencia ,hoje o trabalho acaba exigindo algo mais mecanico e repetitivo da minha parte,entao sobra para as comissions e alguns freelas as vezes

assim a imagem ganha um certo valor e se torna ate uma peça exclusiva e unica em certos casos entendem, é algo bem interessante a se pensar

essa semana,dentre alguns estudos que fiz,vou mostrar esse,para o grupo de redesign do facebook,objetivo dessa semana era dar um visual novo para um personagem dos quadrinhos nacionais, o Cranio ( de Francinildo Sena ) eu conheco o personagem visualmente,li algumas coisas dele a muito tempo atras nao tudo sobre ele,mas basicamente ele e um aliem que foi banido de seu planeta e e acabou caindo na terra,desde entao e cacado pelas autoridades,ele nao fala,usa uma roupa verde e amarela e solta raios pelos olhos....agora minha ideia,era dar um aspecto mais organico e alienigena,porem quando ele usao raios pelos olhos a cabeca dele toda se acende como se energizasse...minha ideia era fazer algo bem diferente,em no maximo 1 hora , dos estudos e rabiscos iniciais esse foi o escolhido e dentro do shape comecei a criar .... espero que tenha ficado interessante

finalmente consegui um tempo pra voltar a a estudar cores,tentei trabalhar com cores neutras no geral deixando as areas mais saturadas direcionando a leitura,talvez eu precisasse de mais um tempo  em cima da imagem pra planejar e reforcar algumas areas que nao me agradou ainda...mas como o tempo era curto resolvi deixar pra continuar numa proxima vez,eu usei a Mulher Maravilha como teste nisso tudo heheh ate porque recentemente assisti novamente  Superman x Batman e se tem uma coisa que me surpreende nesse filme e  a Princesa Diana,ela e perfeita no filme

semana da loucura  aqui heheh nao sei como consegui arranjar tempo pra se divertir heheh,bem...recentemente   eu estava naquela fase  problematica  de queda de rendimento ou bloqueio criativo,a anos eu luto contra isso , mas esse bloqueio nunca interferiu no trabalho no estudio,mas com coisas pessoais tem momentos que chega a me dar insonia,ainda mais quando agente tem o habito de desenhar todo dia,nao importa o que e como,eu confesso que minha batalha contra esse bloqueio e longa e nem sempre as dicas que vemos por ai resolvem,eu ja tentei de tudo ehhehe...enfim...esse bloqueio parece estar passando e coincidiu com alguns amigos do facebook me convidarem para um grupo (REDSIGN) com temas diferentes semanalmente e com ideias livres pra se criar o que quiser as coisas nao ficam limitadas apenas ao redsign e tal,mas o que tento fazer e,me obrigar aproximadamente 1 hora fazer um redsign  ,seja la qual for o tema,e sem testes ,na pressao  do tempo,sem muito  estudos  a ideia e acertar de primeira,ou nao  heheh,que e o caso aqui do nosso deathstroke,eu adoro esse personagem,principalmente sem a mascara,mas optei por  usa-la aqui,minha ideia inicial era fazer como se ele fosse um personagem de warcraft heheh mas sem as pontas e pedras distribuidas pelas armaduras heheh eu queria uma armadura pesada e um pouco ameacadora ,nesse caso acho que foi uma pessima opcao deixar as pontas de fora hehehe

hoje que percebi que cheguei na semana 100 de sketchs ,eu gostaria de post algo mais interessante mas como essa semana vi o o teaser trailer da liga da justica,me vi obrigado a opinar sobre algo frustrante, entre tudo que foi mostrado  o que mais me incomodou foi o visual do cyborg,que posso dizer eu estava bem ansioso pra ver,e um personagem que esta na minha lista de favoritos aqui,na interne ttem referencias muito mais interessantes do que  foi mostrado  e dificil nao comparar com o que fizeram com o apocalipse no filme dos xmen....bem....fazer o que?paciencia,e torcer pra que o filme realmente seja bom o suficiente pra que nao fiquemos prestando atencao em coisas que poderiam ser melhores heheh....o que acho bem dificil de acontecer hehehe ainda mais sabendo que a warner ja tentou e fez  o filme da liga no passado

bom ate la tenho certeza que as animacoes da liga da justica nao vao me decepcionar,principalmente o tratamento dado ao  cyborg,em todas as animacoes ate hoje achei ele muito maneiro

semana corrida acima do normal , pressoes  e mudancas mas...tentarei novamente voltarcom a rotina de estudos, dessa vez venho com uns tumbnails que eu queria ter postado a algum tempo,entre eles tem algumas cenas de filmes ,ideias  e estudos de cor ...uns amigos recentemente me pergunaram o porque de fazer estudos em thumbnails e nao me lembro de alguma vez ter explicado isso hehehhe mas minha intensao é simples,planejar,estudar valores e composicao,silhuetas  alem de cores e o clima de uma possivel ideia,tudo isso de forma rapida afinal se trata de thumbnails e nao requer muitos detalhes,apenas a menssagem principal,logico que tambem tento  capturar cores ,iluminacao e composicao de outras cenas que uso de referencia,e depois tento repassar para isso para uma outra ideia ou contexto....so isso entao estudar a partir de thumbs me permiter fazer varios estudos de varias coisas num periodo bem curto de tempo e focando apenas no que importa para transmitir a ideia , outra coisa eque nao costumo fazer thumbs apenas digital mas faco tambem  no sketchbook ,confesso que faco bastante,chega a ser terapeutico heheheh

inspirado pelo filme de world of warcraft....essa semana eu venho rapidamente  de orc hehehhe lembro de ver pela primeira vez o game da blizzard la por 2004 ,paixao a primeira vista,infelismente e o tipo de jogo nao posso ter em maos ,porque vicia facil ehhehe sempre fui fan da empresa,acompanho a blizzard desde rock n roll race .... e assim como a capcom,gosto de praticamente tudo  que produzem.e la por 2006,2007 em uma palestra com Fausto de Martini ele chegou a comentar sobre uma possivel producao do filme,ja naquela epoca lembro que ficar bem empolgado porque na minha opiniao a blizzard ja tinha potencial pra investir em filmes e ate em animacoes,e enfim depois de tanto tempo,finalmente posso ter o gostinho de ver isso,o filme pode ser ruim afinal e uma adaptacao de game  e normalmente nunca empolgam muito,porem o fato de ter o envolimento da blizzard na producao pesa na balanca,mas mesmo assim imagino que nao seja um filme espetacular ,mas estou esperando me divertir da mesma forma de quando joguei o game da ultima vez ,so isso,quero ver orcs quebrando tudo

COLLAB X-MEN CARDS PROJECT

no inicio do ano,me convidaram para participar de uma collab sobre x-men,se tratava de x-men baralho collab,e a um tempo atras o pessoal liberou o link, confesso que esse ano eu ando muito atrasado com a minha vida virtual ehhehe nao tenho conseguido atualizar algumas coisas como eu gostaria hehehe bem,a collab se tratava de artistas brasileiros  fazenho uma ilustraçao de um personagem do grupo mutante para estampar uma carta de baralho,cada um no seu estilo e preferencia eu fiquei com a missao de fazer o Bob Drake,o homem de gelo,eu pretendia incluir alguns sketchs iniciais pra indicar minhas intencoes,mas eu infelismente perdi os arquivos,os arquivos estavam corrompidos,ainda bem que eu tinha backup da verao final disso ehhehe,dentre minhas escolhas estavam a vesao classica  do personagem,a versao com cabelo espetado com calca,e minha versao de bermuda,mas de inicio eu ja havia descartado a versao com cueca de gelo,sempre achei estranho isso hehehe e tentei fazer algo um pouco diferente,cheguei a testar ele ate de jaqueta mas tinha ficado estranho hehehhe,mas foi mais uma collab onde tive o prazer de participar e conhecer gente nova e interessada em compartilhar experiencia ,visoes diferentes e falar sobre algo em comum ,historias em quadrinhos

um pouco atrasado ,mas recentemente terminei,um estudo de cor na quela arte do alien,acabei mudando algumas coiss e tirando alguns detalhes que me incomodaram depois,bem,novamente tentei usar a limitacao de cores ,pois esse era o meu objetivo,fazer algo relacionado apenas com 3 cores(verde,verde azulado,azul ),confesso que sempre que planejo fazer algo parecido sempre fico me segurando pra nao usar mais de 3 cores hehee,e dificil,mas percebi que quando faco no automatico,normalmente nao fico assim hehehe,e como eu ja tinha feito boa parte da imagem  com valores de tons de cinza,a adicao de cores nao foi dificl , ate porque e engracado,eu ja fazia esse tipo de coisa e ate acho que a limitacao funciona bem ao colorir,mas com o tempo agente vai esquecendo ou tornando o processo automatico,e agora fazendo algo pensado e planejado fica aquela sensacao de que tudo ali realmente se encaixa,mesmo sendo uma cena simples

essa semana ,muitas coisas para terminar mas consegui um tempinho pra brincar um pouco hehehe,o tema dessa vez overwatch, nem joguei ainda mas so dever a arte do game ne deu uma baita nostalgia de quando vi street fighter a primeira vez,nao sei explicar exatamente mas talvez seja o fato de termos muitos personagens  e etnias diferentes e referencias da cultura mundial envolvida heheh seja nas frases ditas quanto na caracteristicas de alguns personagens,e McCee realmente e meu preferido,e como ver uma versao de  Clint Eastwood no jogo,e nao vejo a hora de poder por as maos nesse game...o problema vai ser  arranjar um tempo pra isso heheh

nessa semana ,vi novamente alien ,fazia um tempo que nao assitia e fiquei empolgado e fiz um sketch pra estudar e aplicar cor futuramente  talvez,e incrivel ver que o filme mesmo apos tantos anos ainda continua atual(pelo menos para mim hehehe) ele nao parece ficar datado,a nao ser pelos cortes de cabelo hehehe,mas o resto  continua impecavel,o clima claustrofobico ,a tensao ,a falta da musica nossa ainda me causa a mesma sensacao de quando vi o filme a primeira 

vez,fantastico,e ainda passa  aquela coisa de temer o desconhecido  tranquilamente ehehe

agora tenho de tirar um tempo pra poder testar umas cores em cima disso ai,

eu na verdade ate fiz mas nao achei interessante entao vou refazer

outra coisa interessante e que o que me levoua rever o filme foi  saber  do lancamento de um artbook  ALIEN VISIONS que tem a tem a intencao de mostrar o quanto a franquia influenciou  a cultura e ate outros artistas , entao eu pensei ,eu nunca tinha feito nada sobre a franquia e olha que e uma das minha favoritas top 5 hehe, nem de brincadeira eu tinha feito algo relacionado entao pra brincar com a ideia eu fiz minha visao

essa semana tambem , empolgado em rever uma anime que gosto muito ghost in the shell ,rabisquei alguma coisa rapido sem compromisso,so para brincar mesmo...e lembrei que a alguns dias foi divulgada a primeira imagem do filme com Scarlett Johansson,nada contra a atriz,porem na minha opiniao vai ser mais um filme onde eu particularmente nao me identificarei,da mesma forma que aconteceu com os 2 ultimos filmes do godzilla por exemplo.

e  sendo bem chato eu acho que personagens como a Mokoto deveria ser asiatica,os personagens secundarios eu ate aceito mas como protagonista,eu particularmente nao consigo enxergar um ocidental no papel dela...sera que  Scarlett vai ter o nome Mokoto Kusanagi no filme ?... hehehe  eu espero que realmente me surpreendam

mais thumbnails sempre tentando me limitar a apenas 3 cores,e variar apenas entre elas,tem sido bem interessante, esse tambem foi uma influencia do livro do stephen quiller,na verdade eu ja fazia esse tipo de coisas,mas talvez por causa da pratica acabou virando um habito e consequentemente acabei esquecendo que eu ja fazia isso hehehe na verdade esqueci do "porque" eu fazia  ,por enquanto estou revendo  a parte de cores monocromatico e complementares

eu confesso que nao sei se isso e ruim ou nao,fazer as coisas no automatico ,por habito...eu gosto de saber dos "porque" de usar esse ou aquele esquema sabe  e revendo certos conceitos tem sido bem inspirador,ja que eu normalmente em horario comercial  so funciono no automatico hehehe

essa semana,mais thumbnails,como ultimamente consegui um tempinho entre os estudos de ingles heheh e trabalho,voltei a estudar ou rever algumas coisas sobre cores e acabei testando alguns brushes pra sketch   tambem,eu finalmente consegui pegar para ler o livro color choices (stephen quiller) eu tinha esse livro a algum tempo ja mas ainda nao tinha conseguido ler  de forma continua,eu ainda nao terminei mas tentei aplicar algumas coisas nesses thumbs,a principio,voltar a trabalhar com limitacao de cor ,eu percebi que a um tempo atras eu estava  esquecendo principios basicos  e metodos que costuma usar para colorir entao,precisei resgatar alguns habitos,e comecei por esse limitar a paleta,o livro aborda um outro metodo de usar o color wheel,que cinseramente ainda achei confuso mas isso faz parte...e so fazendo e colocando em pratica que se aprende

sketch da semana  hellboy,o engracado,foi que assisti novamente o primeiro filme do hellboy e coincidentemente me pediram um desenho dele,esse sketch foi bem no improviso , mas  foi bom rever e fazer algo divertido sem compromisso , as vezes agente acaba se afundando em problemas, tarefas e obrigacoes que se esquecemos de nos divertir um pouco pelo menos hehhehe e isso e um tipo de coisa que na minha opiniao nao pode acontecer

como ultimamente a corria esta intensa,essa semana tirei um tempo pra fazer uma coisa que eu queria ja fazia um tempo,eu comecei a colorir essa ilustra,na verdade usei um dos recursos que normamente uso no trabalho ,justamente pra acelerar o processo,  nao sei voces,mas eu particularmente tenho problemas ao continuar uma ilustracao parada ,quanto mais tempo ela fica parada parece que e pior  as ideias e estimulos que eu tinha no periodo inicial ,ja nao sao os mesmos,e sendo assim tenho vontade de mudar tudo

ja faz um tempo que eu nao praticava,quer dizer heheh me divertia com thumbnails hehehhe ou reproduzia uma cena de filme,mas inspirado pelo pessoal do Batepapo ilustrado  e claro ,um tempo livre entre um trabalho e outro consegui fazer essa cena do filme  O Labirinto de Fauno .... filme muito bom por sinal,bem pelo menos para mim hehehhee adorei as bizzarices dos personagens no filme....mas sobre o  estudo da imagem,a ideia era,nao usar color picker e no maximo em 40 minutos,o unico quesito em que nao consegui pois levei por volta de 1 hora   e alguns minutos para concluir,isso que minha ideia era ser o mais simples possivel mas  as areas escuras  comecaram a me confundir um pouco,entao fiquei um bom tempo regulando  escuro e claro,mas deu certo no final
